The Rotary Club of Burnside are usually very busy during the year with fund raising BBQs to help different organization’s. Through fund raising we have been able to provide much needed funds to Baptist Care, Treasure Boxes and to the Norwood Rotary’s project in Zimbabwe to name a few.
Come December it is a time for the club to get together with partners and friends of Rotary to celebrate Christmas. We had the Christmas dinner at the Kensington Hotel where we usually have our regular meetings. We always enjoy our meetings at the ‘Kensi’ as the staff are fantastic and provide excellent service.
At the Christmas dinner we had the opportunity to present the Vocational Excellence Award to Emma Pisani and Blaike Archer. The Vocational Excellence Award is presented by the Rotary Club of Burnside in recognition oy your commitment to excellence in your vocation.
Both Emma and Blaike have provided excellent service and are always willing to do what they can to ensure all our meetings run smoothly. The service we receive is exceptional which makes our dinners and meeting very pleasant and comfortable. We also presented both Emma and Blaike a Certificate of Appreciation to further demonstrate our gratitude.
We had a Delicious Christmas meal and everybody had a wonderful time. Rotary is about fellowship and we enjoy how all the members, partners and friends of Rotary have formed strong friendships.
