President Andrew Bradley recently presented Bob Cooper with a Certificate of Appreciation.
Certificate reads as follows:
“For his achievements and contributions to the success of the SA Drought Relief Appeal and ongoing Leadership within the Rotary Club of Burnside”.
Bob has been a tireless advocate for the farmers in the drought affected regions of South Australia. He has spoken on the radio to promote awareness of the dire situation farmers are in with lack of feed for their stock. He is always finding ways and means to spread the message to the public and encourage individuals and organisations to donate to the cause.
Bob is also involved in the organising of a Pioneer Adventure day for farming families at Tailem Town on May 3rd. This is an opportunity for farming families to get together and talk about their issues and a chance to support each other.
We are very proud of Bob and his commitment to the SA Drought Relief and his efforts to promote the need for funding.
