Club meeting Wednesday 9th September
The Guest speaker was Ryder Grindle, Exhibition Manager at the Mercury Cinema in the city.
Ryder spoke with a great passion on what happens at the Mercury. As well as showing local and international films it also aims to give career building opportunities and to emerging South Australians in film, video, and digital media production.
For the public, the cinema specializes is screening classic or art films as well as curating film festivals and other related events.
We were all amazed to hear about the Mercury and what it had to offer.
Certainly, a great alternative to mainstream cinema.
