Rotary clubs are well known for their fundraising BBQs. We do have regular BBQs twice a month and are invited to do many other events. BBQs are an opportunity to get out and meet the public and promote the work of Rotary. Our club BBQs are a great way to form strong team work and friendships.
However there is one special BBQ we all look forward to each year. The Christmas Pageant. On November 4th the Burnside Rotary club were ready for an amazing day. The weather was perfect giving families a great opportunity to see all the floats, clowns and bands. Of course the main attraction was the arrival of Father Christmas!. The Toffee Apples were a hit last year so more were ordered this year and still not enough. It was a truly wonderful atmosphere and the Burnside Rotary club were in the element and loving every minute. So a big thank you to the team and all their efforts to make the day so memorable for the children.
